Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-An presents the award to Mr. CP Chuang, General Manager of Crystalvue.
The "2024 Taipei Biotech Awards," known as the Oscars of the biotechnology industry, was awarded by Mayor Chiang Wan-an on September 24. The ceremony recognized outstanding achievements across five major categories: the "Innovation in Technology Award - Pharmaceutical & Applied Biotechnology Division," "Innovation in Technology Award - Medical Device Division," "International Advancement Award," "Technology Transfer & Collaboration Award," and "Cross-Disciplinary Excellence Award," along with a special award, "Taipei Biotech Star." A total of NT$6 million in prizes was distributed among the winning enterprises. Crystalvue won Bronze in the Innovation in Technology Award at the 2024 Taipei Biotech Awards.
Crystalvue Vision 700 impressed the judges with its fully automated, multi-functional integration of a non-mydriatic fundus camera and non-contact Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in a single device. This enables physicians to conduct comprehensive diagnostics, providing detailed imaging and measurement of the fundus, corneal structure, and posterior eye structures (such as the retina, retinal nerve fiber layer, macula, and optic nerve head) for thorough observation, imaging, comparison, and analysis.
